There are many content management systems such as sand on the beach and everyone who stands for the first time busy only with the question: Which is the best?
In the following I would like to compare Joomla and Wordpress as CMS and even though some are reluctant to acknowledge Wordpress as a full content management system.
Wordpress:
WP started as a blog system, and has been constantly evolving and enjoying the last few years not only as a blogging tool of many users and developers of enormous popularity.
Starting from the famous 5-minute installation to numerous plug-ins (video embedder, seo tools) you can always come up with something new and constantly expanding to respond to the needs of users.
With the plug-ins and a few small tweaks that can be perfectly used WP as a full CMS, which is managed for the user.
The back end is quite clear and even a newbie can get used to it. Wordpress is especially well suited for beginners, because you do not have to worry about the complicated and expensive installations, but can really get started.
Joomla:
Joomla has been programmed from the ground up as a CMS, and since the flood of bloggers some add-ons have been developed that can also work as a pure blog system.
Unlike Wordpress installation is not quite easy, however it won’t be a problem you can always find a simple tutorial. The installation takes longer negligible and one can actually also get started right away.
But when it comes to install Joomla templates, for example, it becomes more difficult for the beginner, because the backend is a lot more advanced.
Here arises the first deficiency of the CMS, since it is just not small and delicate, but also more powerful. Joomla "is simply more" and that's the advantage of this editorial system.
Finally, we can say that both CMS tools have their advantages and disadvantages. One is more intuitive and easier to handle, the other provides more opportunities. Which you choose depends on the requirements of the website.
