Link building requires dedication and consistent effort. It is the most time consuming and important task in Search Engine Optimization yet it is the nuts and bolts of SEO. The best link building or search engine optimization method would be the one Google wouldn’t notice. If Google finds something unnatural in the development of a website, they can easily connect to an SEO, and might devalue the ranking of the page.
Today I would like to discuss about few mistakes in link building, which I always find in the wide world of SEO. Sooner or later these errors lead to devaluations in the rankings, but they are clearly harmful, even if one does not fly like completely from the index.
Low Quality LinksEven if I have 100 backlinks from different domains, which says nothing about my rankings a long time in itself. If no links from authority here, then one can not get competitive with Keys to the front.
An authority can be seen among others at the position, and the type of listing with Google. Links from these authorities are worth more than many small links.
Vary your anchor text
What you should absolutely avoid when link building is to often use the same link text. If one link always looks similar to another. Accordingly, it is unnatural and suspicious at the same time.
What is not bad is some links with the domain name to use as link text that confidence increases with Google.
Adjust your incoming links
There are plenty of ways to get links faster, but how do we make it look natural?
For an example your website is just few weeks old and normally there won’t be many links nor will the amount increase faster. So when you are building links make sure to adjust your incoming link amount from month to month. Start from little then increase, buying 100 links with in one day is always a bad idea.
Non-Related Back Links
If a website does not have a certain amount of related back links, then the trust is called into question because of a natural link building, created all by itself, usually at least 50% of the back links are related to the topic.
Adjust your home page vs. deep link ratio
Another error can be observed frequently, each incoming link points to the home page. This is not just for the sub-pity, but it is highly unnatural. If possible, show more than half of the links to the subpages, and the various on as many as possible.
One-sided link building
What to avoid, is a very one-sided link building. This means that a link structure which is composed of the same kind of back links.
A good link building consists of different types of backlinks, not just article directories, not just web directories, but just change.
