What is RSS and how to create one for my site?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or it's sometimes referred to as Rich Site Summary. It's an XML-based content format for distributing news, headlines, content, so on.
Most popular sites, news sites and blogs provide RSS feeds for you to subscribe to. All you need is a feed reader to view its contents. Every time they update their blog or news the subscriber get to know it without visiting the site or blog.

If you have a static website I would suggest using some type of software unless you like writing XML by your self.

If not use a blog, Blogger has its own RSS feed and URL are automatically generated for you.
WordPress has the same features.
